Students at Evans Elementary spent the week of Sept. 17 learning about our country's Constitution. Fifth grade began a science experiment on preserving the Constitution. Students place paper in various storage areas and around the room to see how preservation of an important document could be done. THANK YOU to the Old Hickory Chapter of DAR for their generous donation! All students were able to enjoy a patriotic pencil, coloring sheet, and a smaller version of the U.S. Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution, as well as a poster size picture of our First President.
