The first graders recently investigated pumpkins. They used adjectives to describe the outside and inside of the pumpkin, estimated the height of the pumpkin, measured using cubes, and estimated the number of seeds inside. They worked in groups to put seeds in groups of 10 to count the total seeds in the pumpkin. What a fun activity!
